How do I love thee, O deviantART? Let me count the ways:
I love thee first and foremost for thy sense of community;
With friendly, supportive deviants, there's no place else I'd rather be,
For I've become a better artist, thanks to comments, critiques and praise.
With so many features, groups and contests, I could stay here for days;
An artists' network to rival them all, there is talent here aplenty:
Photography, painting, fan art, lit.... The sheer variety
Means I'll soon run out of folder space to add all of my faves!

I'm sure you're all aware of the situation in Japan by now, so this is my long-overdue part for #fella's awareness project: [link]

Google has an excellent page on their Crisis Response website, including updated information and information about donations. It's one of the best resources to stay informed of the latest situation: [link] Time magazine also ran an article outlining how you can help: [link]

The Japanese Red Cross Society [link] and American Red Cross [link] are accepting donations, and you can probably contact the Red Cross organisation in your own country as well.

Finally, The Poster Cause Project has a series of fantastic art posters up for sale on their website, with proceeds to help Japan. If you're after art for a cause, it's definitely worth checking out: [link]

Lovely, it is wonderful that so many people are raising awareness on deviantart. I also made a piece, but I had a disclaimer in its description, because of all the people here who are also just argueing about the art and making rude comments. I think any way of supporting Japan is wonderful <3
